Darran Atter and Bill Scott OBE have been mates for over 25 years, and have decided to help Minds for Men and Wellness for Women boost their funds by walking from Saltburn to Whitby on the 2nd of August 2020. We decide to raise money as its a great organisation making awareness as mental health is on the rise and more than 1 in 4 people experience health issues each year, At any given time, 1 in 6 working age adults have symptoms associated with mental health, also Mental illness is the second-largest source of burden of disease in England. Mental Illness are more common, long lasting and impactful than other health conditions 72 million working days are lost and cost 34.9 billion each year.
