Story

The Asda Foundation City of Lincoln 10k is one of Lincolnshires most popular and picturesque charity road run events. This event has something to offer for everyone, regardless of age or ability and we would love you to be part of the St Barnabas team.

We have several places available free to our supporters. If you already have your own place, why not get in touch, choose to fundraise for St Barnabas and join the team? We will be here to support you every step of the way!

The route is flat and fast, perfect for seasoned runners looking to get a personal best. The striking scenery can be enjoyed by everyone and the crowds that line the route will really keep you motivated as they cheer you on!

Starting at Yarborough Leisure Centre, the route takes runners past an array of local landmarks, including the University Campus, Roman walls and Lincoln Cathedral where the run finishes before celebrations in Lincoln Castle Square.

Please note: you must be age 15 or over to participate.

How much does it cost?

We have a limited number of places which available toavailable to supporters who pledge to raise £100 or more for St Barnabas Hospice. £20 from your sponsorship money will cover sign-up fees, with the remaining amount directly funding patient care and support in Lincolnshire.

How will we support you?

Once you are registered, we will support you every step of the way. Not only will you receive your own St Barnabas running tech vest to wear on the day of the race, you will also be invited to join our Adventure with St Barnabas private Facebook group where you will be able to meet likeminded people and talk about your challenge. You will be provided with a discount card for local sports and outdoor outlets, sponsorship forms, fundraising hints and tips, a link to JustGiving, as well as training guides leading up to the challenge.

We will also be there at the finish to welcome you back, congratulate you on your amazing achievement and thank you for making a real difference to St Barnabas and those that we care for and support each day.

How will your support help us?

Your sponsorship money will make a real difference to patients and families across Lincolnshire who are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Your fundraising will help to ensure that St Barnabas Hospice can care for more patients and families near you, every day of the year.

By way of example, every £14.02 raised will enable us to provide one hour of specialist at-home care to a patient living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.
