Story

The Strathcarron Step Challenge is back this July to help Strathcarron nurses and frontline staff continue to care for local people living with, and dying from, a terminal illness during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Strathcarron's running costs are largely the same as always and the Hospice relies on voluntary income of £14,315 every day of the year. As an independent charity, Strathcarron is not part of the NHS, and relies on voluntary donations and fundraising.

Aim to raise £150 which could pay for one full block of rehab for one person, enabling them to return home, with confidence, following a stay in our in-patient unit.

For this challenge, we recommend that you download the fitness app 'Strava'. You can then link your account to your JustGiving page for this challenge. All of your walks and/or runs will automatically upload and this will help you keep track of your activities over the month.

Sign up today and help Strathcarron continue to care for those in need right now and in the future.

Thank you so much for your support. Good luck!
