"Helping drive positive impact in communities is important to Verizon and its employees. When Salt Lake Community College shared with Verizon the impact that COVID-19 had on the college's student food pantry, we prioritized coordinating a volunteer effort among Verizon employees (V-Teamers) to help fill the food pantry. V-Teamers across the country took the call to action and helped fill the college's food pantry with canned food donations and writing letters of encouragement to the students to stay the course. We believe in demonstrating the 'power of purpose' and are grateful for the chance to support students and look forward to continued support of Salt Lake Community College."
