Story
Two of our young adults in Bulembu are running the 26.2 miles (42km) to buy new shoes for all their brothers and sisters.
The renowned London Marathon is an annual event with more than 40,000 people running 42.2km through the streets of London. Due to the Covid pandemic, this event has grown to include a virtual marathon that allows a further 50,000 runners from across the world to participate.
This gives Colani, and Sicelimphilo, two young men in Eswatini, Africa the opportunity to take part in this iconic race. All three grew up in Bulembu, which is a residential care programme which offers holistic care for more than 350 orphaned and vulnerable children, some of whom have been rescued from unthinkable situations. They are now adults who have completed tertiary education and are well on their way to achieving their dreams.
They would like to give back to the community and run the virtual London marathon as a fundraiser for the children in Bulembu's care. They are in desperate need of new shoes and so the boys are taking up the challenge to help raise funds for their brothers and sisters in Bulembu.
Be part of this amazing initiative and help Colani, Prince and Innocent raise funds for shoes for the vulnerable children in Eswatini. We need 400 pairs.
PLEASE DONATE £10 TO HELP THEM.
