Story
Every year, CRCC supports more than 1,000 local women and girls impacted by rape and sexual violence. COVID-19 has meant an increase in demand for our services and the intensity of support needed by survivors reaching out to us.
We need your help to make sure that no survivor has to cope alone.
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence is a chance for all of us who stand against gender-based violence to take action and spread awareness. To mark the event this year, we are hosting 'The Fitness Fightback' - a series of 16 online fitness classes to raise funds to support our work with female survivors of sexual violence.
We'd love you to get involved!
The Fitness Fightback starts on the 25 November, the International Day Against Violence Against Women and finishes on the 10 December, International Human Rights Day.
Every day, for 16 days, we will host at least one live fitness class, which you can join on Facebook Live or access the video via Facebook throughout the day.
In summary, that's (at least) 16 online fitness classes, for 16 consecutive days, run by lots of fabulous women, for only £16!
To join us, go to our Eventbrite page and purchase your pass for the 16 days. Then join 'The Fitness Fightback' event on the CRCC Facebook page, where you will find a link for the Facebook Group! We'll do the rest - other than the exercise challenges, you'll have to do that bit!
Make the most of your 16 days and set up a JustGiving page here to raise some sponsorship for all your fitness fundraising efforts!
