We are delighted to be taking part in the Bath Half Marathon, for the first time ever!

The Woodworks Project aims to empower people through engagement in meaningful activities, such as woodworking and upholstery, to help maintain wellbeing and promote team working. By joining our team, you will help us to support everyone in Bath & North East Somerset who is experiencing a challenge in their lives, whether from poor mental health, substance addiction recovery, physical or learning disabilities, amongst others.

We are very fortunate that Bath Taekwon-Do is partnering with us to enter a team of runners into the 2020 Bath Half! Both of our organisations share many of the same values. Bath Taekwondo is a local Taekwondo school, which is part of the Professional Unification of Martial Arts (P.U.M.A.) organisation, one of the most respected and forward thinking martial arts organisations in the UK. We are extremely grateful and want to give a massive thank you to the members of Bath Taekwon-Do who are volunteering to run the Bath Half alongside The Woodworks Project and are supporting the work that we do!

In 2020, we have set ourselves the goal of raising £3,750, which will fund one persons place in our workshop for a whole year!
