Before coronavirus, 2,000 seriously ill children had turned to us with a wish.
Today those 2,000 children are waiting. Hoping their wish will still come true.
By supporting the #WishesAreWaiting campaign you will be helping us to grant these wishes as soon as it is safe to do so.
Six-year-old Adam Valli from Leicester is one of the children waiting for his wish to be granted. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in September 2019 and has had several operations and rounds of chemotherapy. His wish is to go to a Manchester United match and meet his favourite player Marcus Rashford. Adam said:
I am still dreaming of cheering them on from the stands. Its what got me through the months of intense treatment. Every time I see them on TV, I am just so excited!

Every day, the lives of 15 families in the UK are changed forever when their child is diagnosed with a critical illness. Medical appointments become the utmost priority with the innocence of childhood and simple family pleasures taking a back seat. During tough times like that, you need hope and our wishes provide that hope - a positive thing for the whole family to look forward to. To have to postpone or cancel wishes has been heartbreaking for us. But you can make a difference. You can provide that hope again and bring back a bit of childhood for a seriously ill child by supporting our work.
