Story

The mission of Abilities First supports individuals with autism, along with those with other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Autism Awareness Month campaign provides everyone the opportunity to raise awareness of the 1 in 54 children & 1 in 45 adults in the U.S. on the autism spectrum, while impacting the mission of Abilities First.

Abilities First & the Foundation for Abilities First NY, (FAFNY), provide services for 1400 individuals and their families who face developmental challenges with support through education, programs, and services. Together, we can help fund the mission and assure sustainability for Abilities First.
