We are fundraising to cover Alex’s travel costs so he can join his new family in the UK — with his best friend Luna.

Alex & Luna — two souls who found comfort in each other when the world turned its back on them.

Alex and Luna were part of a group of five cats abandoned on the streets of Bahrain with no food, no shelter, and no hope in sight. Fragile, terrified, and fighting infections, they clung to each other for warmth and survival. A kind rescuer found them just in time and brought them to safety. Heartbreakingly, one of their little friends didn’t make it — a painful reminder of how dangerous the streets can be.

Through every fear, hunger, and moments of uncertainty, Alex and Luna stayed side by side. Their struggle forged an unbreakable bond, and together, they blossomed into the sweet, loving companions they are today so we are so pleased they have a forever home together

Alex, a gentle and timid boy, often looks to Luna for reassurance. He has a soft, kind nature and just wants to feel safe. Once he trusts, he loves nothing more than curling up on a warm lap and playing with toy mice and feathers.

A wonderful home in the UK has opened their hearts to them both. We are also fundraising for Luna’s travel. They both need help to get there.
