Story

We realise this is a very difficult time for us all. Many people are worried about their health and of course their financial situation. Like all charities we are already suffering financially as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Income from rehoming the collies in our care has stopped for the duration of the restrictions on movement. A 75% reduction in bookings during 2020 for our Boarding kennels has resulted in a considerable loss of income. There will also be an effect on other sources of our usual income. Unfortunately like most animal rescues we have been ineligible for most of the government support packages.

The overall effect of this reduction in income plus our need to continue to pay the wages of our staff and other outgoings is, I'm sure, obvious. And then we add into the mix the difficulties posed by HS2. Whilst everyone needs to ensure they can care and provide for their own family we would ask you to consider that - if you are able - can you contribute the cost of those coffees you would have purchased on your way to work? Some of the money you've perhaps saved in fuel costs? Any contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £1 or £100. Every little bit really will help.

If you can, thank you for your support. In any event thank you everyone for your moral support in these challenging times. Please stay safe and well.
