In the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak and government guidelines we are taking sensible precautions and are moving our Bethany Big Sleep Out ONLINE and bringing the spirit of the Sleep Out to you, virtually!

Were calling on individuals and small groups to still sleep out on the 20th but instead in a secure, isolated environment such as a private garden, allotments, garage or even a fort in your living room!

This is not a decision we take lightly and we understand you may be disappointed or no longer willing to take part but we also feel by completely cancelling the event it would not fit in to the Bethany spirit.

For the most of us, we are privileged to be able to stay home and self-isolate where needed but for those homeless or in precarious housing situations, who are more likely to suffer from underlying health conditions there isnt that option. We want to honour the men, women and families who use Bethany services by still raising vitals funds and support.

It doesnt matter where you Sleep Out, all that matters is you are supporting the most vulnerable people by coming together (in small groups) and making a noise online!

We want for all our participants taking part to feel safe and secure so we recommend the following common sense options:
- Participating in groups of no larger than 3
- To not participate if you are feeling ill or experiencing symptoms before the event
