Hundreds of thousands of refugees have entered the UK in search of safety over the last year due to the war in Ukraine and the Taliban seizing power in Afghanistan.The money donated to our runners will go directly to support our most recent project in the UK: the Open Doors project, helping Afghan and Ukrainian women refugees in London and their families. Your donations will help drastically change their experiences of settling into life in the UK, helping us fund ESOL English classes, community support groups, youth mental health meetings, and employment club.

What your donations mean when we come together:

£5 covers the travel costs for volunteers and refugees to our support services

£20 covers a coffee morning meet-up for refugees

£40 covers the cost of one full free English class

£60 covers an hour of professional counselling for youth/adult groups

HealthProm is a UK-based charity supporting vulnerable children, women, and families disadvantaged by poor health, disability, and social exclusion. We work in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Afghanistan and with migrant communities from the region in the UK. Our current projects also include helping Ukrainian refugees both in the UK and Ukraine.
