Story

We are absolutely gutted to announce that there will be no Christmas Day swim this year.

Our committee have tried to come up with different ways that we can host the event but with last years record numbers there is no way we can make the swim covid safe. The safety of our members, families and community is our priority and due to the current situation there is no way we can guarantee this.

Many outdoor events have been cancelled and instead Virtual events have been held. This is not something we are NOT promoting or encouraging you to do. The Christmas Day swim has full lifeguard and first aid cover, there will be NO lifeguards on the beach on Christmas Day so we strongly advise that you do not go in the sea

We are so sad this wont be happening as we know its a tradition for many peoples Christmas Day. This event is also the biggest fundraiser for the club. We have got some fundraising plans in the pipeline so watch this space....

Its been a different year to say the least, but we will get through it. As ever Thankyou so much for the continued support for the club, we cant tell you how much we appreciate it

The Christmas Day swim will be back in 2021 and will be bigger and better than ever
