The 2020 Event

Due to covid-19 we have decided to change the format of the Burness Paull Chapelton Bike Ride for this year. We felt that the risk of gathering together a large crowd of people to exercise were too great and so we're offering an alternative way to support an invaluable local charity.

We still encourage you to get cycling and raise money for North East Sensory Services. We invite you to donate to NESS through your registration and cycle either 12 or 42 miles from 6th August to 6th September, 2020.

We'd love to see videos and photos of you undertaking the challenge and if you agree we'll put them together to make a wonderful video of everyone's efforts to celebrate the event. Go flat out in lyrca or dress up like a pirate. Stick a Go-Pro on your helmet or take a photo next to a babbling brook in the sunshine. Send us your pics and we'll try to include you! Serious or silly. You decide!

The Reward

As if helping out a local charity and getting some exercise wasn't a reward enough, all riders who take part will get a little thank you voucher.

WHEN REGISTERING YOUR ENTRY ON THIS PAGE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND E-MAIL ADDRESS, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE YOUR REGISTRATION DONATION ANONYMOUS AS WE HAVE NO WAY OF GETTING IN TOUCH WITH YOUR TEA/COFFEE & CAKE OR ICE CREAM VOUCHERS - YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR THIS PURPOSE ONLY AND NOT USED BY NESS FOR ANY OTHER EVENTS OR CORRESPONDENCE.

Individual

We would welcome a £5 minimum donation per person (or more if you fundraise or are feeling generous!)

Families

We welcome a £15 minimum donation for a family of 2 adults and up to 4 children. If you want to fundraise then we'd welcome any more that you are able to raise.

Team

We would welcome a £20 minimum donation per team of up to 5 adults

Routes

This year there are no fixed routes. All we ask is for you to cycle anywhere and any way you like but if you fancy cycling our routes from previous years then you'll find them on the following links on Strava:
