Help us ensure that no child whose family use our services has to go without a present this Christmas.

In previous years parents were given pre-wrapped donations based on what children of their age and gender generally prefer, but last year we wanted to help them find the perfect present. With the help of Nottingham College and Balfour Beatty our volunteers set up a room full of donated presents from which parents could pick gifts themselves.

Parents welcomed this new approach and appreciated the opportunity to choose for themselves presents they knew their child would love.

Mum-of-two Charmaine said it had given her "some choice when you haven't got a lot of choice"; another mum said "this has saved our Christmas".
