Launchpad aims to break the cycle of homelessness by providing temporary homes for up to 100 people in Reading who don't have a clean, safe and stable place to live and combine this with individual, targeted support to get our clients lives back on track.

One of our bedsits in Reading town centre is in urgent need of refurbishment and we need your help to raise £6,000 to restore the bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom in the property - and make it a safe and positive space for a vulnerable person in need.

Work includes redecorating and re-carpeting, addressing areas of damp, replacing the bathroom, replacing the kitchen and providing new light fixtures with energy-saving LEDs.

Launchpad clients are housed by the charity for six to twelve months. During this time they work with our team to tackle the issues that are holding them back, so they can move on to obtain and sustain more permanent housing, and live independently.

For our clients, housing with support is a lifeline and the day they move into one of our properties can often be a turning point for them. Help us raise £6,000 and create a home for someone in housing need in Reading.
