Story
The disruption and uncertainties of the last two years have led to a new appreciation of the value of certain institutions and roles in society. Early on in the pandemic key workers were being celebrated, and as time has gone on, the role of schools as so much more than simply places of education has become more and more apparent.
As the CRiBS team have gone back into schools over the last six months, they have seen first hand how important school can be for childrens well-being and social skills. But above and beyond that, CRiBS works in schools so that they can also be places where children and young people who otherwise would have no contact with church can meet Christians with a living faith, and ultimately be introduced to Jesus and the full, rich life that He offers. There are of course challenges at the moment, as well as many needs, some obvious and some less so. But there is also opportunity and we want to be about the Fathers work "while it is day" (John 9:4).
Thank You
Thank you so much for your support and prayers. Please consider whether you are able to make a donation so that schools can be not only hubs of the community and safe places for vulnerable children (which they are), but spaces where the life-giving message of love and hope that we celebrate at Christmas can be encountered and experienced.
Wishing you a blessed Christmas,
Mark Leveson, CEO CRiBS Charitable Trust
