Story

WHY JOIN THIS CHALLENGE:

Every child deserves safe shelter, plenty of food and a chance to get an education.

Sadly, millions are orphaned, abandoned or neglected children throughout the world and don't have a safe place to call home.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and they should be provided with essential support & care.

It is unfortunate that some children do not have access to even the basic necessities of life like food, water and Medicine.

With your help, kids can receive life-changing benefits like medical care, educational support, and life skills.

World Care Foundation also has orphanages in Turkey & Lebanon which offer safe spaces for kids to learn and grow.

Your support creates a ripple effect for generations.

We want everyone to be part of this event, and that is why we have allowed the option, participating either for the full journey or even just part of it - so that no one is missed out in making a difference

THE CHALLENGE:

The Glasgow to Paris Cycling Challenge isn't just one of Europe's most iconic bike rides, its a once in a lifetime experience.

The entire journey will cover over 700 miles over 7 days

You can participate for the entire journey or join us for part of it, even if it is 20 miles.

Whether you are an experienced rider who is looking to put in some serious mileage or a complete beginner on your first ever cycle ride, you can join us and go on an incredible adventure.

THE PLAN

Starting on the 29th of February from Glasgow the cyclists will travel through beautiful villages of UK and then into the stunning countryside of rural France before they reach Paris and end the challenge under the Eiffel Tower.

For those participating in the entire journey we will support you throughout the journey and even before to help you prepare and even how to raise funds.

There will also be a support vehicle on our journey from start to finish, our volunteers will be on hand whenever you may need them. This support vehicle will follow the cyclists and provide support wherever needed and will include;

First aid kit

Basic bike spares this will not be comprehensive but will carry some essentials

Water, food etc
