Story

THROUGHOUT THESE DIFFICULT TIMES, IT HAS NEVER BEEN MORE IMPORTANT TO COME TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER.

November is Epilepsy Awareness Month. To celebrate this significant month, we are inviting you to gather with your family, friends, community group or workplace and enjoy an outdoor picnic filled with delicious treats, laugher, and fun! Simply choose what youd like to do on a day in November and at a time that best suits you!

People can develop epilepsy at any stage of their lives but a large number have their first seizures during childhood or adolescence, or alternatively much later in life. If your community group or workplace is interested in learning more about epilepsy and how to manage someone having a seizure in your group meeting or workplace, we can offer group training or training modules are available online

Your assistance in raising vital funds and awareness will contribute to much-needed support, services and resources all offered to help improve the lives of people with epilepsy and their families. For further information visit www.epilepsy.org.au/fundraise/communi-tea/ or call us on 1300 37 45 37
