Story

It's time to turn up the heat for the Pilgrims Hospices Firewalk; back for its 6th year! Dubbed the hottest, shortest sponsored walk in the world, its the ultimate test of courage and the perfect challenge for any fitness level.

Since the first firewalk in 2016, more than 800 people have faced the flames for hospice care in east Kent, raising over £200,000!

Firewalks are taking place on the following dates:

Friday 29th October 2021 - Pilgrims Hospice, Ashford.

Saturday 30th October 2021 - University of Kent, Canterbury.

Saturday 6th November 2021 - Thanet Wanderers Rugby Club, Broadstairs.

A firewalk is a truly life-affirming experience. Not only will you conquer the most primal of fears, you'll raise vital funds to support hospice care too. And after all, if you can walk on fire, you can find the confidence to do anything!

It costs Pilgrims £14 million each year to provide free, specialist end-of-life care to more than 2,500 people. Our vision is of a community where people with a life-limiting illness are supported and empowered, together with their family and friends, to live well in mind and body, and make the most of the time they have. We rely on our incredible supporters, like you, to help us reach this total by taking part in events like the Firewalk!

Thank you so much.
