Food, Fuel and Floors

Thanks so much to everyone who donated to this appeal! You raised over £6,000 in total (£4,366.47 on Just Giving!) and we can't wait to crack on and get this money out to those in our community who need a helping hand! Response to Together 4 Fromesides Comfort and Joy appeal in November was tremendous, and made a huge difference to families who received food tokens, parcels, winter coats etc. Thank you so much! You wont be surprised to know that there is still significant need; some 30% of under 16 year olds nationally are in poverty, and this figure is expected to grow. Our community is suffering too, so as local churches we want to continue to respond. Easter is approaching a time of feasting and celebration, but not everyone has food and fuel to cook it. And what kind of a celebration is it when you are moved into a house with cement floors? (Carpets are considered a luxury and not provided). Working with trusted partners in local schools, health and housing, we aim to provide funding for food, fuel and flooring.
