We know football is a game for all, where anyone can utilise its power to change the world!

Over the last year, with football hampered, a lifeline to our young people was erased. Throughout the pandemic a lot of societal challenges have come to light about the game we love.

Florentino Perez might have been right that young people might turn their backs on the game in the future if things dont change. Yet we know that the solution is not to make the game ever more exclusive.

Thats why this Euros we are launching our youth-led Future of Football campaign. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for our youth manifesto that seeks to set out a vision for the game!

Alongside publishing our manifesto, we are aiming to raise £25,000 to help us establish a new community hub that will help to further build the programmes we deliver to support our amazing young people across the North West.

The last 12 months have been unquestionably tough. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, FBB has proved its resilience and, more than ever, its necessity. Schools are stretched, the fragility of our game has been revealed, and mental health issues are rapidly on the rise. FBB offers practical solutions for these critical issues.

We are an award winning charity delivering a football themed education curriculum focused on young peoples social and emotional development.

Whether its coaching and playing with young people at risk of exclusion, delivering therapy using football-themed emotion cards or training the journalists and leaders of tomorrow to produce national media campaigns, everything FBB does tries to harness the power of football!

About the charity

We exist to change the lives of young people. There are thousands of young people who are passionate about football but are not fulfilling their potential at school. We provide long-term, intensive support, built around relationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond.
