Story

Every journey starts with a single step. Each step taken for HOPE, and every £1 raised, will count towards the first step on the journey of education for a child in HOPE's care.

HOPE believes every child has the right to receive an education. It is fundamental to building an independent successful life and a chance to escape poverty. Education gives children an opportunity to find their strengths, to reach their full potential and empowers them to pursue careers and to provide for themselves, as well as for their future families.

If you can't participate in Footsteps For HOPE, please consider sharing this information with others or donating to HOPE's Emergency Appeal.

Funds raised from this event will be dedicated to HOPE's Education Projects and HOPE's Emergency Covid Appeal. As HOPE Hospital in Kolkata is responding urgently to the second, deadly, wave of Covid. The government hospitals cannot cope with the surge of new cases. HOPE Hospital has opened more Covid facilities and urgently needs funds to buy equipment and oxygen to save lives.
