Our annual flagship awareness campaign celebrating World Downs Syndrome Day is back! And we know that even more of you are going to want to challenge yourselves to get up, get out, and cover 213 miles or km in any way you can.
Whether you choose to hike, run, swim, cycle, or even just walk the dog - it doesn't matter - we just want you sign up and have a go, knowing that by doing so, you are helping to unlock the potential of our wonderful Cheshire Downs Syndrome community.
To bring everyone together this year to celebrate World Downs Syndrome Day, we have created a special event to take place on Saturday 23rd March 2019, called the Moochathon 21.3M: a gentle but challenging 21.3 mile walk for all, starting and ending in Hartford and taking in some beautiful countryside around the Whitegate Way (we've even put in a rest stop at the charming station cafe!)
We've got loads of great resources to help you, such as distance trackers, sponsorship forms, t-shirts and access to our Strava app campaign club. Just visit our website at www.getupfordowns.com for more details.
And don't forget; If you've been good enough to set up your own fundraising page then be sure to link it to this main campaign page.
So, in 2019, we'd love you to make a difference with us and get involved, get outdoors and GET UP FOR DOWN'S !
