Story

Welcome to the Giant Wiggle!

We know how important it is to keep children active and engaged at this uncertain time. Thats why we're inviting families to hold a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed play day at home with your little ones anytime between May and August. We'll send you a free activity pack with everything you need from decorating crowns to taking part in a treasure hunt at home. Every penny you raise will help us give children safe and happy childhoods.

The Giant Wiggle was initially created as a fundraising walk. However, given the government guidance around Covid-19 we have adapted these materials so you can use them at home instead. We hope you'll still enjoy them! Together over the last 6 years, Giant Wiggle walkers from across the UK have raised of £300,000 to help give children a safe and happy childhood. The money you raise on your play day will help more children have the best start in life, good mental health, and safe and loving homes. Thank you for being part of the Giant Wiggle 2020!

P.S. Did you know that someone, somewhere in the world, buys a copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar every 30 seconds? Its one of the best-loved childrens books on the planet. Its also the inspiration for The Giant Wiggle!
