Story
Help us provide emergency shelter to vulnerable refugee women, children and orphans a in Greece along with urgent legal aid and medical support. The refugee crisis continues with a further influx of refugees from Ukraine seeking protection. We need your help to expand our shelter project and support as many vulnerable families hoping to find safety.
The Goodwill Caravan shelter project, which started in 2016 in Greece, with properties scattered all over Athens will now be based out of one building which we have now moved into.
It is a part of our emergency Action Triangle. Vulnerable families, mainly women and children, will have the opportunity to be provided with safe shelter, during which time our team will efficiently and tirelessly work on their legal and medical documents for their asylum process (which is a process that can take up to 2-3 years. It is important to highlight that families waiting for their asylum process for these lengthy periods of time are in danger of becoming victims of trafficking, organ trade and kidnapping.
This is part and parcel of our holistic long-term emergency protection programs, which mainly consist of legal, shelter and medical, highlighted in our Action Triangle below:
This is your opportunity to help Goodwill Caravan help these highly vulnerable populations realise a dream of safety, security, and a better life.
