Our community needs your help now more than ever. As Coronavirus spreads across the UK, Helens Trust may have to make the difficult decision to cancel fundraising events if advised to by Public Health England.
Helens Trust funds care for people with a terminal illness who wish to remain in their own home. 90% of funds are generated by our local community who donate, organise their own fundraising events and attend Helens Trust events within the local area.
Should Helens Trust and its supporters events have to be cancelled or postponed due to Coronavirus, between March and July 2020 when many of our main events occur the charity will lose £66,000 in essential income.
Due to the increased pressures on the NHS at this time Helens Trust may also see an increase in requests for help from people who wish to keep their loved ones at home if possible.
It is a difficult and worrying time for all and people will have many challenges. However, if you are able to assist with a donation to Helens Trust this will mitigate the risk of loss of income and ensure continuity of Helens Trust service to people who are especially vulnerable.
Thank you on behalf of all at Helens Trust and the people we care for with your kind and generous support.
