Story

Our experiences of Covid-19 have shown the true value and importance of having a modern and efficient intensive care unit at Airedale Hospital.

A place that has the space to treat our sickest patients.

A place that can be flexible and adapt quickly to the needs of our community.

Funding has been agreed to build a brand new ICU at Airedale with its doors due to open in Spring 2022.

Airedale Hospital & Community Charity needs your help to support this vital project. With your help we hope to raise enough funds for the added extras that will make this brand new unit really special.

These items are over and above NHS provision, they are the little things that really make a difference when our patients need it the most.

The unit requires extra equipment including sensory lights to put over beds to make the unit a more pleasant environment for patients, and soft furnishings such as sofas for the relatives room and staff room.

For more information or to find out how you can help please contact the Charity team on 01535 294870 or anhsft.charity@nhs.net.

No matter how big or small, your donation can help us save a life.

Funds remaining after the appeal has closed will continue to be used for the benefit of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, it's patients and employees.
