Irene was found struggling on the harsh streets of Bahrain, seeking shelter near a workplace where her rescuer first noticed her. Concerned and gentle by nature, her rescuer brought her to the vet, where it was suspected she might be in early pregnancy. But just one week later, to everyone’s surprise, Irene suddenly went into labour.

She gave birth to two tiny kittens… but tragedy struck. One baby passed away at birth, and the second heartbreakingly crossed the rainbow bridge just a week later. Through sorrow, pain, and confusion, Irene stayed quiet and gentle.

Despite everything she’s endured, Irene’s spirit never darkened. She remains one of the sweetest, most affectionate little souls. She adores human company, seeking love with soft eyes and gentle nudges, and she still has a playful spark. Irene truly is a treasure — loving, tender, and ready to trust again.
