Story

Christmas is a time for coming together with family and friends - for chatting round the table, playing games and enjoying feel-good films together. But for people living with deafness it can be a time of isolation and loneliness when they are excluded from the festive celebrations.

Starting on Friday 13th December, we will be sharing twelve different tips to help make your home more deaf-friendly this Christmas season.

If you'd like to support GDA's work to ensure that deaf people are included in the conversation all year round, please donate, and together we can help prevent more people living with deafness, becoming isolated and lonely.

About the charity

GDA offers practical and emotional support to children and adults living in Gloucestershire, who have been born deaf and are British Sign Lanuage (BSL) users, and those who have become deaf through illness or age.
