Story

I live and was brought up in a Cornish fishing port. From a young age, I know first hand the real dangers that fisherman face. Our family lost my uncle to the sea and in the same week, in this small town, we lost 4 other fishermen. The effects are still felt today. So I decided to get involved with the charity the Fishermen's Mission. For many years I would help with fundraising and now I'm a trustee. it is important raise awareness of the charity, to support fishermen active, retired as well as their families and highlight the real dangers that fishermen face. We want to thank the generousity of the company who supplied all the medals, thank you the porter family, PW3 fish supplies of Padstow. So please join me and many others by raising awareness and much needed donations for the Fish Mish. let's all keep each other going on social media, tag in the charity @thefishmish (Twitter and Instagram) Fishermen's Mission (Facebook), include #kirstys140challenge
