Christmas can be an incredibly difficult time for a child or young person who is not living with their birth family. Every pound donated to Live Unlimited will go towards helping Barnet's 639 looked after children (also known as children in care) and care leavers unlock their potential and follow their hopes and dreams this Christmas.

Live Unlimited exists to provide extra support, inspiration and opportunities for Barnet's looked after children and care leavers.

Any donation, no matter what size, helps.

£10 will go towards helping a young person like Ben* buy a pair of football boots so he can break his isolation and join his local football team

£25 will help a young person like Emma Harris (pictured below) learn to drive and move closer to her dream of becoming a mobile hairdresser.

£50 will help a young person like Morris Deer (pictured below) pay for a set of tools so he can complete his apprenticeship.

As some of the most vulnerable members of society, looked after children are four times more likely to be prone to mental health problems, often struggling to live independent lives leading to homelessness. It is also a sad fact that children who have been in care are far more likely to end up in the criminal justice system.**
