The Magpies 150 Challenge is raising funding for the benefit of the following 15 charities from Maidenhead, Windsor and the surrounding areas:

Foodshare Maidenhead, Alzheimers Dementia Support, the Dash Charity, Family Friends Windsor & Maidenhead, Maidenhead and Windsor Citizens Advice, the Link Foundation, Norden Farm, Number 22, People to Places, R&R Recharge, SMILE, SportsAble, Thames Valley Adventure Playground, Windsor Foodshare and the Maidenhead United FC Community Trust.

All of the charities provide vital services for the benefit of local, often the most vulnerable, and they have all been impacted in different ways by the Covid-19 pandemic. Some have experienced overwhelming increases in the demand for their support and services. Some have needed to develop new service delivery approaches. Others have had to reduce services or simply stop their service delivery.

All however are experiencing financial challenges due to loss of fundraising income or increased demand for services. Some may even struggle to survive or maintain the provision of services without additional financial support.

We aim to raise £150,000 through the Magpies 150 Challenge. All the funding raised will be split equally between each of the 15 charities.
