Story
Our cross country team has been beating the pavement in spite of COVID-19. Students have logged practice miles over the summer to prepare for this Fall season. We have come together stronger and more resilient prepared to improve personal bests, team competitions and glorious finish lines. "Luers Spirit" continues as one stride follows another.
Cross country runners at Bishop Luers High School do not need much: a pair of shoes to run 25 to 31 miles each week (200 to 372 miles each season); a goal book to challenge himself or herself to overcome difficulties at meets and keep track of progress; a uniform to compete in; a tent to block the athletes from the sun, rain, or wind at meets; a stopwatch to challenge himself or herself to meet every goal time at practice; and a team shirt to proudly proclaim his or her passion for Bishop Luers cross country. Bishop Luers cross country runners have big hearts and a giant hunger to do their best in all they do, but we need your help to make sure they have all the equipment they need to succeed!
