Brighter Communities Worldwide has been operating in Kenya for over 16 years in an area called Kericho County, 240 km North West of Nairobi. We have been working in 4 main Programme Areas: Health, Education, Water & Sanitation and Economic Empowerment
In a resource poor environment like Kenya most people do not own cars, they do not even own bicycles. So if they need to go somewhere they have to walk, It's how they get from A to B. Local Kenyan's call it 'Walking without a purpose' but the Mountain Challenge 2019 is all about 'Walking FOR a PURPOSE'. The purpose is the continued support of people to create better futures for themselves and their families and we need your help to do that
This year you can climb Galtymore or walk the Foothills of the Galtee's on August 17th and we will look after you with experienced, skilled and friendly guides to lead you on your challenge. We promise it will be fun, energising and rewarding. We'll even give you a t-shirt! Participant fee is 60 euro but you can also fundraise extra if you're up to the Challenge! You can set up your own JustGiving page and link it to this one
If you don't want to be a participate you can still support this Event through a Donation. Donate right here and your money will help change lives. Remember we're all about creating better futures and supporting communities to live healthy lives
