Story

Funds raised for NBP go towards the running of our national support helpline, counselling referral service and befriending programme. We are available to support those suffering the impact of bereavement and the very real mental health and wellness issues brought on by living loss, such as the loss of a job, a home or the direct impact of changes in the economic landscape.

Support Helpline

Donating £5, £10 or £20, enables 5, 10 or 20 people to be supported by our helpline professionals.

Counselling

Donating £50 covers a one-hour counselling session, or £600 pays for a complete set of 12 counselling sessions for one person.

Befriending

Donating £500 provides the crucial training for one support helpline volunteer

You can of course also give any amount of your choice just choose the figure you wish to donate.

We are eternally grateful for the generosity our supporters give to help us, help those most in need. With heartfelt thanks.

RCN 1189517
National Bereavement Partnership provides a support helpline, counselling referral and befriending service for all those suffering from anxiety, grief or mental health issues as a direct or indirect result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our highly skilled helpline volunteers are on hand to support the vulnerable, offering information, advice and support, with empathy and compassion. Each one has a deep understanding for grief, anxiety and mental health issues. Our aim is to assist the prevention of distress and alleviate mental suffering during these unprecedented times. Our team is made up of qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and befrienders, all of whom can be reached by calling our national freephone helpline and email. At whatever stage we are contacted, we will offer support through the individuals’ journey and assist with issues associated with bereavement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We work closely with the NHS Trusts and other relevant organisations.
