Mountain Rescue Temporary Base

Help us secure our temporary base. Since the fire at our base in November 2017 we have been running operations from Merthyr Fire Station. To secure our operational capability we need to make changes to the accommodation and install security gates.

Story

Help us secure our future

Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team needs your help.

Since November 2017, when our rescue base was damaged in a fire, weve been very lucky to have been given a temporary home by South Wales Fire & Rescue Service at Merthyr Fire Station.

But we need to make a few improvements, and to get some security gates installed to protect our vital lifesaving equipment.

Last year we rescued over 120 people thanks to the support we receive from donors.

Any donation, small or large, would be gratefully received towards our £7,500 target.

Thanks for reading.
