Story

Step into Christmas by joining Pilgrims Hospices for the jolliest jogs of the year and dash along the Herne Bay, Folkestone and Margate seafronts in aid of local hospice care as part of our 3k and 5k Santa fun runs!

Christmas is a special time of the year for many; its a time to spend with friends, family and loved ones. Our dedicated team of doctors and nurses work across the Christmas season to ensure that our patients and their loved ones are able to enjoy this time together too. Families are welcomed through the doors of our three inpatient units in Ashford, Canterbury and Thanet to enjoy Christmas dinners, carol services, mulled wine, Christmas decoration making sessions and more. Whilst our community nurses spread the festive spirit through our patients home. By supporting Pilgrims this Christmas youll be helping to ensure our patients and families enjoy the festive season and make memories they can treasure.

It costs us £14 million each year to provide free, specialist end of life care to more than 2,400 people. Our vision is of a community where people with a life-limiting illness are supported and empowered, together with their family and friends, to live well in mind and body, and make the most of the time they have, We rely on our incredible supporters, like you, to help us reach this total by taking part in Santas on the Run!
