We Are Beams is planning to run the really popular Kidscamp Playscheme throughout the school holidays in 2019. This is for children and young people with the more severe and complex needs who must have 1-1 care and support. Going forward we have very little money to provide this much needed service and are appealing for your donations to ensure we dont disappoint anyone this year. We are planning swimming at a private pool, sailing on Chipstead Lakes, day trips to the beach and zoo and fun days at Arethusa in Medway. Days planned at Allsworth Court will be for garden play focusing on team fun, use of the ball pit and sensory room, animal therapy and a music session. £5000 will enable Beams to recruit and train suitable staff to care for the children and pay for all leisure activities.

Playschemes are so important for the ongoing health and well-being of a disabled child. They make friends, have fun, get to try something different that they dont get to do at school or at home and the family get a break from the constant 24/7 cycle of care.
