Support Quetzal Pay It Forward Campaign for survivors to live free from the trauma of abuse and exploitation. With your Donations, we will better support the increased number of referrals and reduce our waiting list
Story
In 2021-2022, 426 women referred themselves to Quetzal, wanting to live free from the trauma of childhood sexual abuse. It is a 63% increase compared to 2020-2021 (n=261).
To manage the increased demand, Quetzal recruited new counsellors, going from 13 to 50 in total.
Our waiting time to start counselling went from 3 to 6 months.
Please donate and fundraise so we can recruit a volunteer manager who will supervise volunteers and do case allocation, reducing in turn our waiting list.
