Story
All of us are going through a very hard time in this COVID-19 pandemic. Schools are closed since the last few months but Open for Key worker's children. Most schools are trying hard to go back to normal and working hard to make sure that the children and staff are safe. Some schools have decided to teach their students online, but they are facing problems as some families have no computers or have more than one child. As a result, their child cannot attend online lessons and miss their lessons and learning. Not only that they are missing learning but it affects their mental wellbeing as well.
While computers cannot replace traditional teaching methods, they undeniably enhance a child's learning experience. This also supports reading with AR quizzes and computer coding skills. We know that pupil engagement and enthusiasm often improves with the use of this valuable resource.
The sad fact is that our schools in the borough of Redbridge don't have a budget for computing equipment. Therefore, if we want to purchase more computers, we have to provide for the funding. Sindh Doctor's Association UK would love to be able to purchase at least 60 such devices, e.g. laptop computers, tablets, etc. This purchase will benefit not only our current pupils but also the future pupils of our school.
Go on .. Do something AMAZING to help our local schools and make a donation now.
