Welcome to the London Marathon 2021 #RichardHouseHeroes team!

Richard House Children's Hospice, based in East London, provides palliative care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across London. We are the only childrens hospice in East London and have provided care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families for 20 years. Each year, the Hospice supports approximately 300 families from disadvantaged backgrounds in East London caring for children with life-limiting conditions. The children often have multiple disabilities and are not expected to live into adulthood.

This year we have 12 golden bond runners in the London Marathon 2020, each aiming to raise at least £2500 for Richard House Children's Hospice. £2500 could help pay for a play and care worker for a month so children are free to play in a safe environment and parents know they are safe and cared for. Therefore as a team our 12 amazing runners could fund a play and care worker for a whole year. We also love to welcome own place runners to our team - the more the merrier! Our London Marathon 2019 team raised an amazing £35,000, so this year we would absolutely love to beat that and raise £40,000. We can do it team!
