Over the last two years, more than 35 amazing runners (and walkers) have taken on the Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon in support of Zephyr's, raising over £11,000 - truly vital funds to support the ongoing operation of the charity.

This year's Robin Hood Marathon events are on 29 September 2024 and the charity team will once more be there to cheer on our wonderful Zephyr's fundraisers!

Zephyrs supports parents and families in Nottingham who have experienced loss, from early gestation to the death of an older child. We are led by bereaved people, for bereaved people, providing activities including: volunteer-led peer support; specialist bereavement counselling; safe spaces of connection and understanding online and/or in person; creative and holistic therapies (including woodworking for bereaved Dads, yoga for bereaved Mums, gentle group therapy Wellbeing Walks, and our Into the Woods forest school activities for bereaved families); information sharing, books and resources.

This year, all funds raised by Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon runners will support our core bereavement counselling service. If we can achieve our target of raising £4,000 that means that you will have funded a further 80 hours of counselling for bereaved parents and families. Thank you.

If you set up a Just Giving fundraising page, we will be in touch to help you with your fundraising, provide you with a Zephyr's t-shirt and hopefully we'll see you on the day, to give you a flapjack and lots of moral support!
