Please can you help us make Christmas a little more special for young people this year?

Our young persons service, Routes, supports 75 young people in East and West Dunbartonshire.

We give young people the opportunity to talk to someone they can trust, the opportunity to develop friendships and the confidence to achieve their goals.

Life isn't always easy for the young people we work with, Covid added to their already stressful environment but we are beyond proud of how they have coped over the past 18 months.

It would be wonderful to end this difficult year by surprising them with a special Christmas gift of their own.

With your help we can buy an individual present for each young person we support, as well a treat for their siblings so that no-one is left out.

Please consider donating so we can lift their spirits and bring a bit of cheer at Christmas time.

Can I donate a gift instead of donating money?

Sorry we can't accept gifts at this time. By donating cash to our appeal we can make sure that everyone gets a gift of a similar value and our project workers will be able to pick something that the young people really like or need. Any amount you can contribute will help us reach this goal.

What is Routes?

Routes work with anyone living in East or West Dunbartonshire aged from 12-26 years old affected by someone else's drug or alcohol use. We provide 1-1 support as well as activities to bring young people together.

How will you spend the money?

We currently support 75 young people in East and West Dunbartonshire. What we raise will go towards them and their families. If we are lucky enough to hit our target anything extra will be put towards Routes activities.
