Social distancing, online festivities, nationwide lockdowns. Christmas 2020 is going to be different to previous years. Unfortunately, for many of the child refugees living in the Europe, festive periods separated from loved ones are a reality they face every year.

Safe Passage has been fighting for refugee rights and family reunifications since 2015. Like Farouk, a Safe Passage Young Leader who designed the image you see above, we believe every child deserves to be with their families and not just at Christmas. £25 helps provide one-off legal advice by phone to a child refugee or family member about their options for reuniting

£50 helps our pay for a professional interpreter for a child refugee

£100 helps the child refugees family meet with a lawyer for the first time to discuss their case

£200 helps cover the process of gathering evidence to prove the family link to the Home Office (a necessary part of the reunification process)

£350 helps cover initial legal and psychosocial support for a child refugee in a camp in Greece
