In the Borough of Colchester Age Concern has delivered £1.3m of benefit entitlements for individuals who would often have been choosing between heating and eating.

Our dedicated team of 2 staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure people receive their entitlements, support with often complex forms and to support those in great need.

Those who don't need the Winter Fuel Allowance donate to Age Concern where work is developed to help people out of poverty. We have consistently delivered over £1m a year in benefit entitlements for the last 10 years and our work is growing.
