Visit the charity's profileThis year Pastor Yatta and David Sandi will again provide a XMAS meal, games and small gifts for several hundred children. After last year's event, Pastor Yatta wrote
The first time I shed tears when I see how excited and hungry the children are. We are to start at 3 p m. The children started coming at 11 a m. We cannot send them away we have to find something for them to eat and wait again for us to start at 3 p m.
We are also providing support for the families of Ibrahim Kamara and Foday Bangaru who died when a petrol tanker caught fire in Freetown. Ibrahim and Foday worked with amputee football players as part of the Sports Ministry team. Pastor Yatta last saw them a short while before the explosion when they collected footballs from him on their way home. Sadly, they were somehow caught up in the fire and never made it. Ibrahim is in the green T-shirt below.
