We are Shane, Clare, Eleanor, Karen, Vestalia, Richard, Claire and Frederick, and we are Team Tower (a Tower is a group of giraffes, well known for their large HEADS and long NECKS). Please help us raise funds for an amazing charity.

Our face is our window into the world, and the window through which we are viewed. The Head and Neck Cancer Foundation (HNCF) are striving to minimise the impact of this cancer surgery so patients can maintain their quality of life. We can, with your help do this by achieving our three aims.

Awareness - Increase patient awareness of symptoms and treatment for head and neck cancer

Training Inform colleagues of new developments that minimise treatment and reduce morbidity

Technology Provide Sentinel Node Biopsy equipment and training to all cancer centres across the UK

We may look like a small organisation compared to the cancer charity giants and thats because we are! HNCF is run by people who really know what helps those with cancer and what technology is available. Professor Mark McGurk our Founder, is a world renowned surgeon at the forefront of his field. He has decades of experience in treating patients, and in training fellow surgeons, and aims to spread the benefits of his knowledge to all areas of the UK.

We dont spend money on trustee salaries, smart offices and lavish advertising campaigns. We concentrate on ensuring that money can be spent where it is needed moston patients and making a difference to the future of head and neck cancer treatment.

We receive absolutely no statutory funding whatsoever, and every single penny we spend is raised by people like you, people who support us by fundraising for us, or simply putting their hand in their pocket.
