The Construction Tour de Cornwall will consist of an epic cycle over 200 miles (320km's) from Penzance, via Land's End, culminating with a celebratory event at Plymouth. The cycle ride traverses the entire Cornish peninsula, from west to east and from north to south and all the while you will be surrounded by picturesque countryside, stunning villages and historic harbour towns.

Spencer Walshe and Terry Hussey have teamed up with the 11 Foundation which has been founded by former Chelsea and England footballer Joe Cole and his wife Carly. The 11 Foundation creates collaborative partnerships on behalf of established charities and organisations to help enable health related initiatives, community led environment schemes and the provision of opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable people.

The 11 Foundations work on behalf of the NHS addresses how the Covid-19 pandemic has elevated mental health issues and cases of PTSD experienced by NHS staff. Whilst some staff will process the impact over time, many are suffering with bereavement, heightened anxiety, stress and fatigue. The foundations initiatives developed with experts and best in class creatives are all designed to address the physical and psychological symptoms of stress and trauma connected to working life in a busy hospital, particularly during a time of crisis.

Joe Cole, along with a few of his former teammates Wayne Bridge and Steve Sidwell, will be joining us on this ride.
